How long does a Lotus Notes to Microsoft 365 migration take?

Mail migration for a few hundred users typically takes a few weeks including preparation. Application migration depends on how many Notes applications are still in use, which is why we start with an automated analysis of the environment.

Can we keep Notes applications after moving mail to Microsoft 365?

Yes. A coexistence setup lets you run mail in Microsoft 365 while Notes applications continue on Domino, so you can migrate or retire applications one at a time.

What happens to encrypted Notes mail during migration?

Encrypted mail can only be read with the user's Notes ID. Our analysis tools identify encrypted mail, and we decrypt it together with the users before migration so nothing becomes unreadable.
